دومین کنفرانس دوسالانه نفت، گاز و پتروشیمی (OGPC2018) یک رویداد علمی بین المللی برای پایش پژوهش‌های علمی و یافته‌های صنعتی جدید در حوزه انرژی و محیط زیست است که ان‌شاءالله توسط دانشگاه خلیج فارس و با همکاری انجمن مهندسی شیمی ایران در 23 آبان 1397 در بوشهر برگزار می‌گردد. استان بوشهر به‌دلیل داشتن میادین متعدد نفتی و گازی، تاسیسات گسترده بالادستی نفت، پالایشگاه‌های گاز، پتروشیمی‌ها و نیروگاه‌های تولید برق که عموما در نوع خود از بزرگترین‌ها در جهان محسوب می‌شوند به عنوان پایتخت انرژی ایران شناخته می‌شود. این کنفرانس قصد دارد که نخبگان دانشگاهی و خبرگان صنعتی را در حوزه انرژی و محیط زیست با هدف ارتقا و عرضه تجارب ویژه صنعتی، پژوهش‌ها و اختراعات علمی، توسعه فناوری، پیشرفت پایدار و تبادل دانش گردهم آورد.
